Video: WFLA News Channel 8 reporter covering officer funeral procession: “a waste of my day”

A reporter out of WFLA – Tampa – was caught on the below video saying in disgust “We can go back…it was a waste of my day” while covering the scene of the funeral procession of Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Joseph Bullock.

You can watch the video below.
The reporter says the statement at the end of the video
.
As everyone knows, everyone @Ted's Firearms supports law enforcement. What are your thoughts about this reporters lack of sensitivity towards the Tropper and his family?

I always hate getting one small cut and making rash assumptions. Perhaps the individual just realized that his camera hadn't worked correctly and he lost all the footage he needed... hence, it was a waste of his day. I guess I'm not going to assume the worst but it would be interesting to know the truth.

I have my own reasons why I don’t watch WFLA. No respect for law enforcement. How did this get leaked?

Most of the media is completely disgusting these days. This is one that needs to no longer have a job

Evan Donovan approved I'm sure.

Do we know who it was?

In November of 2019 a Pregnant mother from LITHIA, Fla. killed a home invader with AR-15, saving her husband and daughter.

A pregnant woman shot and killed a home intruder who was attacking her husband, according to Bay News 9.

On Wednesday night, two masked men carrying guns barged into the family’s home in the Tampa suburbs in Florida around 9 p.m. The intruders pointed their guns at Jeremy King, demanding money. According to King, "it became real violent, real fast.”

The men started pistol-whipping King while kicking him in the head.

“As soon as they had got the back door opened, they had a pistol on me and was grabbing my 11-year-old daughter," King told Bay News 9.

During the attack, King’s wife, who is eight-months pregnant, peeked out from the back bedroom. One intruder saw her and fired a shot at her.

The woman retreated, grabbed an AR-15 and returned fire, hitting one of the intruders, according to the report. The intruder retreated and made it out of the house, where deputies later found him dead in a nearby ditch. The other intruder ran off.

“Them guys came in with two normal pistols and my AR stopped it,” King told Bay News 9. “[My wife] evened the playing field and kept them from killing me."

King said he doesn’t know who the intruders are or why they targeted his family. However, investigators do not believe the break-in was random. King suffered a fractured eye socket, a fractured sinus cavity and a concussion from the attack, he said.
According to the sheriff’s office, the AR-15 was in the home legally.
